Managing Director of AVT Teltow – Official Opening of the Zanzibar-German Technical Education and Training Cooperation
On April 29, 2025, in Madinat Al Bahr, Zanzibar, Mr. Benjamin Prögel, Managing Director of AVT Teltow, delivered a virtual keynote at the launch of the Zanzibar-German Technical Education and Training Cooperation.
He expressed gratitude to the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training Zanzibar (MoEVT), the Karume Institute of Science and Technology (KIST), and the Zanzibar Association of Tourism Investors (ZATI) for their collaboration.
AVT’s commitment focuses on strengthening vocational training in Zanzibar, particularly in water and wastewater technology, through accredited curricula, instructor training (including female master trainers), and promoting sustainable water practices in tourism. He stressed long-term support and partnership to build an inclusive, future-ready system benefiting youth, communities, and the environment.
